Build and finish

The FRT 15 E3’s trigger shoe and hammer interface use case-hardened 4140 steel, with engagement surfaces polished to 0.0005″ tolerance. Unlike cast or MIM triggers, the monolithic steel construction eliminates flex during rapid fire while the nitride treatment provides corrosion resistance equivalent to military-spec coatings.

Housing dimensions match standard drop-in trigger footprints (1.375″ width), with reinforced sidewalls to prevent housing deformation. The selector detent employs a spring-loaded tungsten carbide ball bearing for positive mode transitions, rated for 50,000 cycles without wear-induced slop.
