That’s why we redesigned this Premium Billet Lower. We didn’t just mill it from a solid block of 7075-T6 aluminum for strength; we added the two features that actually make a difference during your build: threaded holes for the bolt catch release and the rear takedown detent. No more hammering. Just screw them in with the included hardware. It’s that simple.

The Core: Billet 7075-T6 Aluminum Lower
Machined from a solid block, not forged. This gives us the ability to create sharper lines and add those critical threaded features. The 7075-T6 aluminum is the same spec used by the military – it’s tough, it’s durable, and it won’t wear out. The magwell is professionally broached for smooth, reliable magazine insertion and ejection every time.
Fire/Safe Markings: Clean and Legit
The selector markings are deeply laser-engraved, not painted on. They’re clear, permanent, and give your build a finished, professional look right from the start. You get the “FIRE” and “SAFE” where they belong, done right.
The Game-Changing Upgrades: Threaded Pins
- Threaded Bolt Catch Hole: The roll pin is gone. In its place is a clean, threaded hole. Install the bolt catch and secure it with the provided screw. It takes 30 seconds with no risk of damaging your lower’s finish.
- Threaded Rear Takedown Detent Hole: Say goodbye to launching that tiny detent spring across the room. This threaded hole lets you cap the channel with a small screw, compressing the spring perfectly. It’s secure and makes future disassembly a breeze.
Both screws and the correct hex key are included in the package. We thought of that.
